Programme Note

Viscosity is the scientific term to express the magnitude of internal friction in a fluid. Viscosity explores the relationship between two musical ideas that change in thickness and fluidity, revealing how they effect each other and how this scientific idea can be made audible.

Viscosity was premiered by the Junior Academy Piano department on 17/1/14 at the Royal Academy of Music, London.
